Dues -Involvement -Both           BECOME A MEMBER

Why should I continue to pay dues to the Historical Society? In our first 10 months (since our membership drive began at last year's East Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest), over 300 residents and friends have joined in their overwhelming support for our Society.
Numerous relics, artifacts, and documents relating to our Township history have been collected and are in the process of being assembled and organized. Our Township Commissioners have set up a drop off and storage room for donations of items at the Township office. Central Pennsylvania College will be providing a public room in the Boyer House to display our historical collections. The Board of Directors meets on the 2nd Tuesday of January, March, June, and September in the College boardroom.
How and where do you want the Society to proceed? As you can see by the articles in this newsletter the Society has come along way. Many members may just wish  to continue paying dues to perpetuate what is happening.  Others may want to become more involved. Your leadership  hoping both.

We need:

When sending in your renewal memberships, please take some time to write a note on how you want the Society to expand services, and how you might just have a special ability that can be a personal contribution to your township historical society .

WE NEED YOUR HELP

We are still in need of some East Pennsboro High School yearbooks. Needed are books from the classes of 1961, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1997 through 2002. If you have any of these books and would like to donate them, we are anxious to have a complete set.

Our collection of pennants include those from the following Enola High School classes, 1913, 1927, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1935, 1938, 1939, 1941, 1942, 1944, 1946, 1948, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956.

If you have a pennant that is stored away and not listed here we would be happy to have it for our collection. We are not sure in which year the school stopped offering pennants, jackets, hats, etc. We are also looking for pennants from West Fairview.

Thank you
